This group of photographs came to being after Gail Trembath bought an old personal scrapbook from an opportunity shop. The scrapbook was originally a telephone sales catalogue.

Re contextualizing the images through photographs has given glimpses of another time, and an individual womans life aspirations, her champions and icons of the time.

Although the original author remains anonymous her aesthetic is still present. Time and Trembaths photographic process have overlaid the original scrapbook images providing the opportunity for new readings in a new context.
