Vision of the 49th Parallel [yes, an intended ode to K.D.Lang] is a series expressing a personal vision of environment, unashamedly
affected by the music and shifting moods of British Columbia Canada. Vivienne Hamiltons aim is to evoke an emotive style of
landscape, using techniques that take into account the environment in which she lives. This exhibition, of quadtone pigmented
prints is a conscious decision to embrace current technology in a landscape of drought while striving to maintain the qualities
of Black and White fine art photography.
