Featuring
TIM PAGE
A picture is worth a thousand words. Today, maybe it is worth a billion pixels. A photo freezes the moment, locks it into
our consciousness. The next commercial on TV dis-focuses us, to consume for happiness. Reality is binned, condemned to the
cutting room floor with the caution that we might find it disturbing.
Tim Page is the subject of many documentaries, two films and the author of nine books. His archive contains over 750,000
photographs, taken in 85 countries over 40 years.
He no longer covers wars. He freelances from Brisbane and has taken up a position as Adjunct Professor of Photojournalism
at Griffith University. He regularly exhibits his work and continues to proactively promote peace.

SIMON JAMES
Recharge your passion for photography. Simon James talks about putting time into doing personal projects. "Its wonderful
that we all enjoy what we do, but sometimes you need to reconnect with the craft." Simon spends his down time shooting
nudes on location. A wedding is 600 images in 6 hours. A nude, is a 6 hour hike through Mother Nature and 20 shots. "A
wedding is 90 images in half a day on the computer. A nude is all night with music of my choice and one image." Re-ignite
the passion for your photography..........
