This year Les is offering three DFB'07 workshops that present a concise and systematic approach to the complex and often
confusing array of options, tools and processes involved in capturing, processing, editing and printing digital images.
Digital Capture: Saturday 16 June
The Digital Negative: Sunday 17 June
Beyond Basic Photoshop: Saturday 30 June
These one day workshops are designed for anyone already working with DSLR cameras and Adobe Photoshop who feel they lack
a sufficient grasp of the underlying principles and practices, and/or who want to integrate these processes into a comprehensive
and efficient workflow.
Each workshop is divided into four sessions separated by generous breaks to facilitate individual consultations and revision.
The sessions are organised around a series of 'beyond the basics' demonstrations, analytical investigations and practical
applications in a focused but entertaining manner. They present essential information and solutions to practical imaging problems.
I also actively facilitate discussion and critical analysis of the material being covered. My overall aim is to assist the
individual not only to understand, but also to be able to work with the knowledge according to his or her own needs and aspirations.
Detailed class notes are provided and participants are encouraged to share and discuss their own digital imaging experiences.
