The Daylesford Foto Biennale is a huge logistical exercise, with events spread over approximately 80 venues accross the Hepburn Shire. A percentage of these venues require rostered staff to supervise exhibitions or events throughout the month. There is also a requirement for administration helpers throughout the festival to man information centres in the major towns, and support staff to assist with the hanging of shows prior to opening on June 2nd.

There will be induction sessions prior to the commencement of DFB'07 so that volunteer staff can familiarise themselves with procedures and content of the festival so as to be able to make a valuable contribution in dealing with the thousands of visitors expected over the Biennale month.
We require volunteers for venues in Clunes, Smeaton and Trentham as well as Daylesford/Hepburn Springs.

If you would like to join our enthusiastic band of volunteers, download the
application form, complete and send to the DFB office.
If you require further information regarding volunteering at DFB'07, call the volunteer coordinator Ruth Bray on 5348 1952.

There are a range of benefits available to volunteers who commit for a minimum of 25 hours over the festival period.

We hope to be able to offer low priced accommodation to interstate and out of town DFB'07 volunteers. We are currently looking at a couple
of options where we hope to offer accommodation at around $15 - $20 per night. You may have to twin share, and we can't promise 4 stars,
but it will be a cheap option if you are planning to come to Daylesford for an extended period on a budget. To qualify, you have to sign on for a minimum
of 24 hours of volunteering, but in return you also get free admission to DFB07 seminars and discounts on workshops, merchandise and other stuff.
Call the office to reserve a spot.
