Silvi Glattauer is a Melbourne based Photographer and Printmaker, working and teaching at 'The Baldessin Press' in St
Andrews. Silvi has a particular interest in the 'fine print'. She has worked extensively with a contemporary photogravure
technique for translating her imagery. A unique blend of digital with the hand made print, the photogravure technique encourages
textures, tones, forms, light and shadows. The original photograph becomes a beautifully textured and individual Intaglio
etching, that results from the combination of fine art papers, archival inks and the etching press.
