Who are these young people? What do they aspire to? The photographs dont have the answers, but they do show these teenagers in moments of certainty, uncertainty, humour and insecurity. In rental tuxedos and handmade white dresses, the photographs are timeless. They express that moment in all of our lives when we stand on a precipice between childhood and the desire to reach the world beyond our elders grasp.
