Photographic artists, groups, and associations working in the photographic medium are invited to participate in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale Fringe program. Works

from all genres of photography and photographic art are invited to join the program and expose their works to the tens of thousands of visitors who will come to the Biennale from September 4th to October 4th 2009. The FringeExhibition program will take place at a host of venues throughout Ballarat and the Hepburn Shire. To participate in the BIFB Fringe Program you need to first secure a venue for your show. Once you have come to an agreement with a venue at which to stage your exhibition you can register by paying the standard registration fee of $250 for BIFB'09 Fringe Events. This fee covers the cost of listing your show in the official program and on the web, and also covers the cost of venue signage, administrations and publicity.

Fringe Program Exhibition registrations will close when there are no more available venues or the deadline for program entries close on June 2009.

We welcome Fringe Program entries from all over Australia, and internationally even, but please be aware that we don't have the resources nor manpower to negotiate venues on your behalf, nor curate, provide infrastructure nor bump shows in and out on behalf of artists.
